The ObiOne platform provides open educational resources focused on early literacy and numeracy, accessible in more than 150 languages and available for web, mobile, and offline use. By using this platform, you agree to abide by these Terms of Use and any applicable Creative Commons license associated with each resource.

1. Open Licensing and Attribution

Unless otherwise noted, all resources on ObiOne are published under Creative Commons licenses such as CC BY 4.0, CC BY-SA 4.0, or CC0 1.0. Each resource clearly displays its license and source.

You may copy, share, adapt, and translate the materials, provided that proper attribution is given to the original authors and creators, following the specific license terms. You must not remove or obscure any copyright notices or attribution details provided with the materials.

2. Use of Platform and Content

ObiOne is designed as an open educational platform. Users are encouraged to reuse and remix materials in accordance with their Creative Commons license, including for teaching, translation, adaptation, and community use.

Commercial use is permitted only when allowed by the applicable license. ObiOne assumes no responsibility for verifying license compliance in materials derived or redistributed by third parties.

3. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Content

The platform aggregates content created and funded by global partners including USAID, The World Bank, Google, The Asia Foundation, Pratham Books, and African Storybook, among others. Each organization retains the intellectual property rights in their materials, shared under open licenses to ensure global access.

ObiOne does not claim ownership over third-party content and cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of external resources.

4. No Warranty and Limitation of Liability

The materials on ObiOne are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, either express or implied. ObiOne does not warrant that the content will meet your requirements, be accurate, or be free from errors.

Under no circumstances shall ObiOne, its contributors, or partners be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the materials or platform.

5. Community Contributions

Users who upload or share content through ObiOne agree to make their contributions available under an appropriate Creative Commons license. By doing so, you grant ObiOne the right to host, display, and distribute the materials globally under open terms.

6. Changes to These Terms

ObiOne reserves the right to update these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
